What StaticReel does
Netflix, Max, Disney+, and Prime Video all change constantly — titles disappear and appear, prices shift, shows get cancelled or renewed, and account policies change with little to no announcement. StaticReel exists to catch those changes and log them in one place, verified against an official source wherever possible.
How verification works
Every entry in the Signal Log carries a status. Verified means the change has been confirmed against an official source — a service's own newsroom, press page, help center, or billing page. Unconfirmed means the information comes from user reports or unofficial sources that haven't been confirmed by the platform itself. We'd rather label something unconfirmed than overstate our certainty.
What's next
The site is currently a homepage prototype with sample data while we build out real weekly research. Coming next: dedicated pages per streaming service, permanent pages per title with full change history, and a "Where is it streaming?" search.
